Under our mission “Mobile Tech for All,” we provide a no-code mobile application platform that enables development, management, and analysis of mobile applications without programming. By lowering the barriers to technology, we aim to serve as a software infrastructure to various industries and contribute to a sustainable society.

We have identified below the priority areas in which we will proactively work on to help reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.

As a company providing software infrastructure to various industries, we are focused on bringing positive impact to the environment through our growth. Specifically, we provide mobile application solutions as alternatives to existing paper media like membership cards, coupons, flyers, catalogs, etc., helping companies achieve paperless operations. As the number of users (downloads) of mobile apps developed on Yappli platform increases, the level of CO2 emissions from paper and plastic would decline, lowering the environmental burden.

Education is the social foundation of a sustainable society. At Yappli, we promote digital transformation of educational institutions through “Yappli for School” solution, as well as by offering a curriculum to “Yoshimoto Digital Entertainment Academy,” which fosters talents to accelerate digitization of the entertainment industry. We provide a learning environment that supports technical education in the areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

For technology companies where the gender gap is recognized to be wider than other industries, evaluating how best to support women’s success is an industry-wide issue. Our customers and end users include women of different backgrounds, and we believe it is important to engage in product development from diverse perspectives to provide the best experience to all and various customers, users, and partners. At Yappli, we embrace diversity and flexibility in ways of working based on life events. By advocating the power of mobile technology, we contribute to the productivity of our 600+ client companies, their employees and partners. For example, by completely migrating the information sharing process to the mobile app, Duskin Co., Ltd. successfully reduced the number of meetings held, saving tens of millions of dollars annually. XING INC. has centralized all necessary information on their mobile application, reducing their help desk inquiry correspondence by 15%. Adoption of no-code technology can bring about process innovation, enabling individuals whose strengths lie outside of technology to focus on their value-added work.

In addition, Yappli also endorses use of technology to its own employees to promote creativity and work-life balance. Through the use of cloud services for internal operations, Yappli was able to smoothly migrate to remote work and open work (where employees make their own decisions on where they work) in times of COVID-19 crisis in 2020.

In Japan, where lack of engineering resources has become a nation-wide issue, adoption of no-code services becomes a necessity for all people and organizations to fully enjoy the power of mobile technology. Yappli, under the belief that “anyone should have easy access to mobile app technology,” promotes digital transformation of our society and accelerates innovation in Japan.

In order to maintain integrity and fairness to all stakeholders, we are continuously working to reinforce compliant corporate management. We are committed to enhancing our corporate governance by monitoring and reviewing the auditing process, internal control, and guidelines on code of conduct, as well as business ethics, and statutory requirements.
